Municipal Services

The City of Shavano Park will provide exceptional leadership and will deliver exemplary municipal services in a professional, cost-effective and efficient manner to citizens, business owners and visitors in order to facilitate economic growth and enable an exceptional quality of life and workplace consistent with our small town values and character. Information and links are provided for your utilities, recycling, waste collection and other services you may need when moving to our City.

Electricity and Gas
Throughout the entire City, electricity and gas is provided by City Public Service, which is owned and operated by the City of San Antonio. 

Water
Water is provided either by the City of Shavano Park (original neighborhoods) or by  San Antonio Water System. The following neighborhoods: Shavano Creek, Bentley Manor, Willow Wood, Huntington and all commercial areas are provided water service by San Antonio Water System. Refuse / Recycling Service
Refuse and Recycling Services are provided by Republic Services. You can find their schedule for 2015 below. Dates are set by Republic Services. Brush pickup is scheduled twice a year, typically in the spring and fall. The City will update the webpage let ting all residents know when Brush pickup has been scheduled well in advance of the actual days.
